While there were interchanging parts on the Boston Bruins fourth line this season, the most common trio was Tomas Nosek, Nick Foligno, and AJ Greer.
They all had pretty good seasons, and any team that breaks points and wins records needs production from all corners of the lineup.
Nosek and Foligno are unrestricted free agents, though, and as much as they’d like to be back, the Bruins might need to part ways to save costs with bonus overages for Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci on the books.
Having that continuity and leadership would be nice, though.
We do know Greer will be back and ready to jump in when games matter most after not playing in the postseason.
