the fact remains that no one wants to deal with is that so long as Sather has a key to the building, the endless failure, stupid spending, bad drafting, disappointing results will continue unabated. Sather was a one-trick pony who was lucky enough to have the shoulders of Messier and Gretzky to ride on. When he didn't, he showed himself to be the true Executive he is – which is marginal at best. Both Dolan and Sather are cancers on this organization and there will be no Cup until they are both gone. Lance the cancer and the body will heal. It starts at the top. And the top is irrelevant. And nothing Drury does happens without Sather's approval and blessing.
I agree about the Kane chemistry point. I remember trying to justify why it wasn't working and hoping it was going to get better but clearly didn't.

Kreider had nine points in seven games, do they win game six without him, one goal and two primary assists? I agree that Igor was the star of the Series but #20 outplayed the other top six and should not be lumped in with the likes of #10 performance wise. Probably not possible to keep, but Tarasenko is perfect for this team.
