With the draft in less than a month, how could picking Matvei Michkov, Will Smith, or Leo Carlsson affect the San Jose Sharks’ draft choices during the draft? I run a four-round mock draft for the San Jose Sharks with each player taken as their first pick at number four to see who is potentially available for the Sharks and who they should draft in case. Start with the Michkov draft and how the Sharks are given a choice of a number of defensemen at 26 or a player who fell to them. In the Leo Carlsson draft, with a number one center potentially locked up, can take some chances on more scorers. Finally, with the Will Smith draft, a potential top-15 player falls to San Jose at 26 to make things very intriguing.
