  1. I could care less about anything they do or accomplish .I will never believe anything they do after their ultimate choke!

  2. The Bruins should only be giving out Free Agent contracts to their RFA's Swayman & Frederic. Every other Bruins Free Agent should be allowed to walk which includes Bergeron and Krejci

I’m sorry but both looked far less effective in the second half of this past year and going back to 2018, both Bergeron and Krejci have kept getting their lunches handed to them in the post season because age and the grind of an 82 game schedule renders them far less useful in the playoffs

Just look at this past post season. The Bruins won more games without Krejci and Bergeron in the lineup than with them in it. If that doesn't tell you this Bergeron and Krejci at center for Boston is over, what would?

The Bruins only have $5M in Cap Space which won't even be enough to re-sign Swayman and Frederic (let alone anyone else)

Not only should the Bruins not re-sign any of their UFA's, they should be trying to trade every player without a full NTC (which only includes Marchand, Pastrnak and Lindholm) and if those three players are willing to waive their NTCs, they should be moved too

    Why?

Because the Bruins have both the NHL's worst Salary Cap and Draft Capital positions to go along with one the NHL's worst Farm System. They also only have 7 forwards signed for next season which doesn’t include a 1C or a 2C (nor is their a 1C or a 2C in their putrid farm system and NO, they don’t have the Cap Space to sign a 1C or a 2C either)

I'm sorry but only having 7 forwards signed for next year, no under 38 1C or 2C, having the NHL's worst draft capital and salary cap situations and having one of the NHL's worst Farm Systems, screams re-build

The Bruins need a new core if they're ever going to be competitive again year to year. No NHL team, including the Bruins, can build a new core with no Draft Capital, a rotten Farm System and no Cap Space

The only way to create those three things is to trade current roster players

The 2011 Cup Run is over Bruins homers

If you want this Bruins team to claw to a few more early round playoff exits the next two years until Marchand is complete toast and Pasta is north of 30 while they win nothing in the process and the farm system rots away further, have at it, as I'm guessing the Bruins are going down that route anyway as this ownership group doesn't have the balls or stomach for a complete re-build. They won't even fire Sweeney and Neely who since 2015 have produced this (7 of 8 years failing to win more than one playoff round, back to back 1st round, Game 7 choke jobs after 100+ point regular season, NHL's worst draft capital (no 1st again until 2025, no 2nd again until 2026), NHL's worst Salary Cap position and the NHL's worst farm system). So nothing but playoff choke jobs and destroying every asset the Bruins have to fix the mess they created and what is Jacobs going to do? Let Neely and Sweeney continue to run the show. This is WHY!!!!! the Bruins won't win anything anytime soon. Bad ownership. Bad executive management.

However, again, they don't have a core anymore and it's time to build a new one either way

    The problem?

    NO DRAFT CAPITAL

    NO CAP SPACE

    NHL’S WORST FARM SYSTEM

The sooner the Bruins get to trying to build a new core, the sooner they'll have one again

    And guess what Bruins homers?

It'll be a whole lot easier to build that new core with draft picks, a stable of young, near NHL ready prospects and Cap Space (none of which they have presently) and the only way to create those things would be to move rostered players the Bruins themselves and most Bruins fans won’t tolerate moving (Marchand Pasta Ullmark Debrusk Carlo Hall Lindholm Coyle Zacha) and some that won’t return much but Cap Space in return (Forbort Reilly Greer Frederic Zboril)

Don’t panic Bruins homers. The Bruins won’t go for a rebuild and the only rostered players that will likely get moved are Ullmark and Taylor Hall. Everyone else is probably safe because the Bruins would rather lose in the 1st round of the playoffs for the next 10 years straight, than miss the playoffs for a few years as they build a new core that could compete for a Stanley Cup for another decade

Choose your own adventure I guess
