Penguins are a tough matchup in the first round, but honestly, I won’t be surprised if this team beats them considering that we thought that 1.) Giroux was going to regress 2.) we were going to miss the playoffs and 3.) Gostisbehere was not a top tier defenseman. Nothing is surprising, especially with the Flyers. Onward to playoff hockey.
If the Flyers can keep making statements like this in their games, I think any team will be really scared of facing them. Even as a long time Capitals fan, I cannot help but applaud the achievements of the Flyers, even if they kicked our butts multiple times this season. Well done, guys! Now, give the Penguins hell!
