On February 13th, not only did Kyle net a hat trick AND his 150th career point in the 6-2 win over Michigan, but the victory also marked the Gopher’s 300th at Mariucci Arena.
The Gophers came out strong against the Wolverines, with Rau, Seth Ambroz, and Vinni Lettieri scoring Minnesota’s three goals in the first period. In the second period the Gophers came out with the same momentum, with Mikey Reilly netting one goal and Rau his second. Kyle finished off his hat trick night in the third period, scoring yet another goal. Mikey Reilly set a career high with 4 points in the contest.
