Hertl is 2+ years older than MacKinnon. It's a lot easier for a guy who is 20-21 years old to win Rookie of the Year than a kid who was 17 years old when he got drafted and just a few days past his 18th birthday in his first NHL season. It's truly amazing how physically mature and strong MacKinnon is already. Let's see how strong and ready he'll be by the time he's 20-21 years old before we start comparing Hertl and MacKinnon.

That was Connor McDavid-like speed. Mackinnon is probably the most explosive skater in the NHL or has one of the best first steps.
Still one of the best goals. Mack is unbelievable and hope he stays in Colorado for a long time
