  1. I was so Spoiled, Growing up in Detroit.

To be Blessed to Grow up around the Good times?

Makes me Understand how to live through the Bad.

To work, work hard, to get back to that Mountaintop.

To prove why we always will be……HOCKEYTOWN!

  2. In Detroit at that time, almost all the best players from Russia were gathered, with the exception of Mogilny, Bure and Zubov.Adding to this a few legends:Shanahan,Yzerman,Lidstrom,it is not Surprising that they took the cups almost every year.

  3. There is a reason up until ovi fedorov was the top scoring russian. Still my all time fav player ever

  4. Im so goddamn nostalgic about the Wings of the 90's. So lucky I was a kid during that time.

  5. Where is that elite passing and offensive creativity right now in the Detroit offence? They have barely any like this first goal. The 2021 season so far is just square up with the goalie and shoot and repeat.

Hopefully with the future additions of Raymond and Berggren you will start to see a change in approach. Still need an elite 1C for the top line pivot.

  6. I was at this game…it was my 2nd NHL/Wings game. I was 10. It was my first game with my Mom. We were in the upper bowl. I remember being blown away everytime we scored and seeing that it was always Fedorov. I also remember Konstantinov’s drop pass like it was yesterday and the ensuing celebration.

  7. Those primary assists by Konstantinov 😛 Such a shame he couldn't play a full career. With him I believe the wings would have won more cups.
