GM: Benning, easily. His only rebuild moves were “suck so hard that we draft well” – our two best traded-for rebuild pieces came from the Gillis years and he let one of them walk for nothing. Keenan was disliked for the Linden trade but that got us Bertuzzi and pieces that would help us land the Sedins, and Bertuzzi was later traded for Luongo.
Logo: Stick in Rink. No real team success history, and I can probably name a grand total of two players from that era (one of whom became our coach/GM during the skate era).
Mascot: Prankster Bear was a bit of a Leafs ripoff, and I can’t hate on my boy Fin.
Most hated team: Fuck The Flames. Toronto a close runner-up, and I’ve got some nostalgia for the Kings rivalries of the 80s (back when I was growing up in Duncan I remember an exhibition game we had in our arena that was Kings-Canucks that led to a bench-clearing brawl) but seriously the long standing history of hatred with the Flames will always make them #1 for me.
Coach: Let’s just go with Keenan. Had such a contempt for our team and led that bald headed fuck run amok and decimate our team. Though I think if WillieD was in the mix he’d probably take the cake there.

I can’t believe people are picking Keenan over Benning. Keenan’s run was less than 1.5 years. He made some good moves to get rid of an ageing core. Benning set this team back for a decade, and his moves will still be felt for years going forward.
