Canucks news: Travis Hamonic takes the ice, roster starting to take shape

Travis Hamonic took the ice with the Canucks for the first time, and from all account, looked pretty good. We’ll see if he’s ready to go by this Wednesday night’s season-opener in Edmonton.

The Canucks also practiced special teams (both PP and PK units). Noticeable by their absences were Jordie Benn and Jayce Hawryluk.

  1. when hoglander played in the world juniors on the power play he stood at the side of the goal. so putting him in the bummper spot isnt a bad idea

  2. More excited for this season than I have for any season prior. Maybe because of the quick start, maybe because we ended on a playoff run, maybe because I have been digesting a lot of Canuck Clay commentary so I feel I know more than previously. Either way, Go Canucks Go.

  3. Excited for the new season. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts about the season as it unfolds. Let's seize the season, GLCPC!!
