  1. I'm not sure Hughes will have very many trading partners down the road. They'll be scared to pick up the phone I think

  2. I agree glad to see this soap opera end, Montreal got younger and bigger, if anyone can bring out the best in this player it's Martin, if he plays with a little more passion, and with younger team mates it could be good. If not let him go, no loss, Dadanov was gone at the end of the year anyway,at least there is potential here.

  3. Dadonov slow start in Montreal didn't help him with the fan base. We didn't have expectations for him and no one expected him to b there next year so yeah it's not like he's going to be missed. He was playing a lot better lately but still missing too many net. Gurianov is an interesting project. He always had potential but was over taken in the Dallas Depth Chart. In Montreal, at RW, he'll get a chance to shine. In front of him, Josh Anderson, currently injured Brendan Gallagher. So he needs to play better than Armia and some of the kids. It's definitely doable.

  4. Trading one Nov for another Nov. I got no clue, but those matching last letters to their names is interesting. lol

  5. Calling this a major trade is a bit of a stretch. At least the fan base can't complain he's small. Dadanov was doing squat here, so a young former first rounder is a low risk gamble for MTL.

  6. I guess Hughes views a shoot 1st mentality winger making more sense than Puljujarvi (EDM) or Kravtsov (formerly of NYR) seeing we have Suzuki and Dach (whenever he comes back).

Next on the list, Drouin … expecting a similar type of trade return.

  7. I was not expecting at all getting this good of a return for Dadonov. Didn’t even except Dadonov to be traded at all. Love this trade

  8. Well done Habs, wonder if you guys could turn him into the next Monahan
