  1. Doesn't matter how he performs under Babcock, I am shocked that this guy is even being considered to come back to work in this league.

  2. Babcock reminds me of my one boss. When he gets back in the league he'll try to be nice, but as a person he's just an asshole through and through. His bad habits will slowly start creeping in when he loses his temper, and he's going to end up saying some terrible things to people. It will all be behind the scenes stuff we may not hear about for years, but people like this NEVER change. They live in their own realities and don't even realize or understand why what they're saying is wrong or hurtful.

Should be interesting…and yeah. I need a new freakin' job…

  3. Lol I feel no sympathy for these guys. They make more money in a year than most will make in a lifetime. Cry me a fucking river.

  4. ๐Ÿ˜ขIm making 10M for playing a game. You hurt my feewingsโ€ฆsniff sniff.

  5. Didn't Matt Martin have to be restrained from kicking his ass in Toronto? Should have let him go.

  6. As a Hawk fan i used to feel sorry for CBJ. If they hire Babcock ,fuck em.

  7. I disagree with saying Babcock IS a good coach… He WAS a good coach. He hasn't brought a team past round 1 in the playoffs since the 2012-2013. Hes not a good coach anymore. Honestly teams recycling the same old coaches repeatedly is so annoying, Get some new talent who know todays game

Honestly even the teams hes coached to success would've succeeded if there was a wooden plank with googly eyes in place of a coach

  8. Hahaha F you Gaudreau. That said, how the hell is this guy getting a job again? Jeeeeeez.

  9. Can't believe this guy Babcock will be in the league again after all that crap that came out on him.

  10. Incorrect and bad hockey forecast, even if it is true, who cares about Johnny hockey ? โ€ฆ I like this channel just not this video upload

  11. I'm inclined to not always go with what the players want. Just look at Boston. On one hand, players didn't want to play for him anymore and it became toxic. On the other hand, Vegas is now in the finals and Boston isn't.

  12. Itโ€™s not Babcock that is the problem. Itโ€™s the โ€œsissyficationโ€ of the NHL thatโ€™s the problem. The NHL players now days need to take their tutus off and grow a pair. Current NHL players are a bunch of emotional softies now days.

  13. If they hire Mike? Tell Jarmo he can have my tickets ๐ŸŽŸ and he can burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ my BJ jersey. Don't hire the evil sick Babcock.

  14. People are so overdramatic. I've gotten along with people who other people have hated. People have to stop being so overdramatic

  15. A baboon could have coached that Detroit team to the Stanley cup. Same goes for team Canada that won Golds. Martin St Louis is another big fan of his for sure

  16. Don't buy Yarmo's bull$#!t. He is trying to get 3-4 more years.$$$$$ Doug McClean id rather have than this current management. Glad Bedard neve fell into this #ell#ole.

  17. They could hire GOD and they would still choke in the playoffs ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  18. There are some coaches that the game just passes by. Babcock is one if those coaches. He's this era's Mike Keenan.

  19. When you have a team full of HOF players winning a cup isnt because of the coaches genius hockey IQ. Same as World Cups. With the team Canada can assemble a guy off the street could win win them

  20. What a waste of talent to give them this half baked lunatic of a coach…

dude needs anger management therapy, communication classes, along with a head doctor to try and get that chemical imbalance straighten out. Not a coaching gig.

  21. The soft as baby shit leafs would've won the cup by now with Babs. This whole soft woke culture of today doesn't work in the playoffs.

  22. I mean.. they added Gaudreau and dropped 22 points (and 12 wins) like they wanted to be one of the worst teams in NHL history ๐Ÿคท
Fact is, if Gaudreau was the impact player this video and every Flames fan from last season says he is, they wouldn't have fallen so relentlessly off that mountain.
Fact: the reason NJ had such a turnaround was how bad Columbus played.
Philly was basically done two months into the season and they were never as bad as Columbus.
    Things NEED to change.
In comparison, people are talking about firing Leafs' coaches and trading players when they had their best year in two decades.
    Columbus?
One of the worst regular seasons not by a 'first 5' (first five seasons) franchise in NHL history.
They had 57 points in their second season.
So this is their second worst year in franchise history (22nd of 23), and just 4 more points than they had in 48 games in 2012-13.
Oh, and they absolutely need a kick in the ass after last year's outing, and a softer coach isn't getting those results ๐Ÿคท

  23. A few things to point out to all of the Babcock haters: unlike Sutter, he seems more likely to learn from past mistakes. I saw him give a few interviews after being fired where he admitted he likely made some mistakes. Didn't completely air his laundry out in the public eye, but showed a bit of accountability when asked. Sutter seems to coach his own way or the highway (which can work with the right players, but often not).

Second, do we know that all of the players who came out swinging against Babcock were perfect angels themselves? NHL players can have egos too. Unless you were there in the dressing room to see everything first hand, then it's tough to call who was in the right and who wasn't.

Lastly, Babcock took his time away from the NHL to coach the University of Saskatchewan while his Toronto contract ran its course. If he was so arrogant that he wouldn't admit to his mistakes in T.O. then he likely wouldn't have gone back to a grassroots job (side note, it was also to be closer to family as well). He may or may not work out in Columbus, but I think it's pretty ignorant to say he's a complete write off and shouldn't coach in the league ever again. There are far less experienced/capable coaches around the league still holding down jobs, and with Columbus so low in the standings, I can't see this making things much worse.
