I think they got the right two guys based on the moves they could make. My hope is that Hill continues to develop into a #1 goalie for the team.
Reimer is not that good .
I honestly think that there were better options out there. It would have been interesting to see Fleury in SJ. I’m not saying there isn’t potential for Hill to work out well and Reimer is a fine backup I’m not sure they improved by leaps and bounds in this area until we see more from Hill. Either way, the team’s defensive play needs some big time improvement. Hopefully the Bonino and Cogliano signings help that out as well.
I don't believe they will save our season, but my hope is they bring enough of a level-up from last season that watching Sharks doesn't feel like a labor of love, but is instead exciting and fun. More of that is on the huge D and forward contract players tho.
