    I love it whenever people say "your fans will love this guy" and then you get to see why. It's something you don't fully appreciate looking at stats and highlights. I could foresee the shifty playmaking, but I had no idea he had the core strength to send bigger guys to the ice. And more often than not he's going to get other teams distracted, and inspire his own to get into the game, with his compete level all over the ice. What a steal he is going to turn out to be.

    First off i'd like to say Congrats on your incredible first and hopefully not last 24 hour livestream. It was a great achievement and so awesome to be part of in supporting you through interactions and donations. I have a ton of respect for you as a man, friend, father and husband to your family as well as just being a legend and canucks fan in general. Love the fact you are so genuine and wanting to build a community that encompasses your positivity, and authenticity. Keep up the great work and go canucks go.

    As for Conor Garland, i love his grit and his goal also showed flashes of his skill set. Im super excited for him and the Canucks not only this season but for years ahead because i could see him being Vancouver's version of a Brad Marchand type player. That will be exciting for our team as the young core develops to have that skill and bite to our team.

    Loved Garland's game last night. I think he's found his mojo. Reminded me a bit of Kess in his glory years. Someone else said Ken "Rat" Linesman, who was a real pest during his heyday. Too bad the Canucks couldn't get at least a point. Except for a few lapses, they definitely played more than well enough to win. PP still needs work tho. PK too.

    I love that Zadina called Garland a midget, and yet he face-planted Garland's back/shoulder blades!

    Thanks again for all your effort Clay, I made the whole stream except basically the first 4 hours due to having to sleep. It kept me entertained through a day of creating videos for my hometown team, amongst other things. Also thanks to all your guests & your awesome family for all the entertainment & humouring/putting up with you & us.

    Garland is worth every penny on his new contract and more! He is a hockey player with heart, fight, edge skating ability, can pass and score. Best trade ever by Jimbo getting Ekman-Larsson as well, improving the Canucks instantly, while dumping all those expensive dead weight. That 1st rounder to Arizona was no sweat as it was well worth it!

    garland should be fined and suspended he targets guys heads with his back! not sure why he only got a two minute penalty instead of a 5 and suspension….guy with eyes in the back of their heads and are dirty should be suspended. that hoglander is dirty too targeting the goalie whos skates but not head was in the crease. good stream yesterday i enjoyed duthies stories

    Loved the 24 hour livestream, Clay you did great. May I humbly suggest you disable “auto-start” & “auto-stop” on your OBS? It’ll prevent you having to create part 2 or 3 if your computer updates or anything crashes. I went thru this often with my streams 😅 . And loving garland, go canucks go!
