Good show. I wouldn't be surprised if Wheeler is back for a final season. The gift that keeps on giving. As for the other trade prospects I will believe it when I see it, especially after last summer. I still get headaches and flashbacks over that. Would be very sad to see Helley go but I would be happy for him if he lands on a team that is serious about winning the cup. Would like to see Dubois traded to Inuvik if they had a team. Scheifele is a tough one. How do you not suffer the consequences of trading a 40+ goal scorer? Having a tough time seeing how we end up better when the smoke from this off season clears. Should be interesting.

To me a free agent Center should be a priority, even if it is someone older like O'Reilly. If you keep the team competitive you keep Hellebuyck, and keeping the team competitive starts with addressing the gaping hole down the middle before it happens. Getting picks for Scheifele or Dubois is easy. Getting someone who is top 6 right now is hard.
Get the Run It Back shoulder patches ready.
A D-transformation, crappy PK and a solid road record should get us close

Trade our top 2 centres there will be a drop in production, but there will definitely be a increase in buy on how the game is supposed to be played.

From what I have seen the Jets were not and have not been a playoff team. They were a lower level team with an elite goalie who stole enough games to get them in the playoffs. If Heely leaves they might as well blow up the team as they have nothing to lose.
Let’s get a reality check. If Chevy makes no moves in the off season you can guarantee it that not only will the Jets not sell any new season tickets but current season ticket owners will head for the exits
