    I know that unless a player picked numero uno in an NHL draft is literally the 2nd coming & quality of a B. Orr / M. Messier or C. McDavid his impact on an entire hockey team’s roster is & will not be as significant as say an NBA player picked #1 overall would be to his team’s fortunes, for example. So to ask R. Dahlin in his 1st season to lift up & carry ‘our’ Buffalo Sabres on his back would be as futile as it is funny. That said, the clock on GM J. Botterill (a cat who with all due respect I still think is way to inexperienced for my liking) & HC P. Housley starts NOW. Like please in the name of all things holy, no more goddamned excuses for we long suffering Sabres fans & lets start to get this mofo’in’ show on the road. Oh yeah, Botterill. While riding this high of getting Dahlin, could you kindly starting working the phones to get us a legit starting goalie & scoring winger, as well. Thats it, that all. And LETS GO BUFFALO!!!

    Looks like Buffalo got a decent one in Dahlin. I would not get too excited though. Buffalo is the weakest team in the league and unless he puts on the pads, this only addresses part of the real problem.

    Just a word to Buffalo fans dont expect Dahlin to turn your franchise around on his own and be patient with him he wont have much of an impact in the first 2 seasons i think but once he grows into his own body he will be one of the best defencemen in the NHL

    Sabres fans already aiming for the Cup….I get it , you are excited and all, but being delusional is something else. Dahlin is fantastic, but there is no one man army in hockey. And Sabres have a LOT of holes to fill. So stop with this nonsense and get a grip.
