  1. What would the point be? Would the trade be just to make cap space and get rid of JT cheap. Trade for a much lesser player making the team weaker but more money in the pocket? Our biggest strongest forward. Not one player is even close to JT on the Canucks. He is easily the toughest player on the Canucks. I think we should move away from our Shinny past. And have a larger more gritty team. No small team has won ever in the NHL. No shinny team has won the cup either. Toronto wanted to trade two AHLers for Miller. Bad trade. Why trade for two guys that might not even make the team. These two teams offered less than other teams. Trading him would definitely put us where we are today. The 11th spot. You have to get someone who makes the team stronger not weaker. As of now there are no prospects with a hint of toughness coming up. Going backwards from what Rick wants. None of our prospects even hit. Go through the highlights and not one big hit. Jet Woo is the very most physical player and a good chance he does not make it. A good defenseman would have had one call up by now. At least.
