  1. What’s the news on Turcotte’s & Vilardi development, Is they making the roster ?

  2. I was so happy with the pick. There were so many rumors that Blake would pick Stutzle. Stutzle will be good, but I love the fit on the kings for Byfield.

  3. I’m not going to fault the kid, this has gotta be a bit nerve wracking all the interviews he’s had to do, but the “ya know”‘s every other word was getting a bit irritating. He probably doesn’t know ahead of time what he’s being asked, so he’s thinking on the fly, but maybe once he’s more established he can just slow down his response a bit. LA is a good place for a guy like him. He gets the Malkin comparison by the media, but Kopitar is another similar type of player who can mentor him in being a big NHL center.

  4. I was really hoping to see Byfield in a Sens jersey, but this kids a beast, the Kings are looking like they're gonna be good again very soon.

  5. With Kopi, Byfield, vilardi and Turcotte the Kings are gonna be deep. They still have a number of centers like Lizotte, Anderson and Madden. Many will transfer to wing so that opposite side centers can slot in to give the Kings a center on his forehand side within the same lines.

No matter which side the faceoff is on the Kings will be able to switch centers without switching lines.
