This is an example of how ownership has been running the franchise. They kept an incompetent Ted Phillips around forever collecting paychecks and not doing his job. If management had been focused on winning instead of solely on money they would have been gotten a new stadium from the city.
This was a move instigated by the new leftist Mayor of Chicago in his lame attempt to coerce the Bears into staying in Chicago. He said taxes would go up even in areas outside of his authority. Typical Crook County.

Put the new stadium in Lincoln Park, make it free and open to the public like the zoo and arboretum. In lieu of paying for tickets, entrants can toss coins into a fountain.
Bears have a terrible roster. We will be picking in the top 5. In fact The panthers are awful too so we potentially have the fist two picks in a loaded draft. Also We can get a QB that can actually throw.
I hope they get it worked out. I think the Arlington Hts location is perfect for the Bears . I hope they can work out a deal that's good and fair for everyone.
