Is Corey Crawford a Hockey Hall of Famer?

Corey Crawford won two Stanley Cup and backstopped the Chicago Blackhawks dynasty. But is he worthy of the Hockey Hall of Fame?

  1. “Corey Crawford isn’t a hall of famer with two Stanley cups”… despite playing a big role in both of them. And then proceeds to name 3 legendary goals, BUT none of them ever won a single cup.. hmmm 🤔

  2. Something to consider: You could make the case that Crawford was the best player on his team AFTER Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, Sharp. What merit do you give to a player who is the 8th best player on his own team while also being coached by an all time great, and managed by all time greats in the Bowman family? The question that they are asking is really "was Crawford just solid enough to allow those other guys to win the games OR was he the difference maker" and then you have to ask yourself was Crawford the difference maker in Cup finals against Vasy or Rask? He literally won two cups with Toews/Hossa (two of the all time great defensice two way forwards EVER) and a trio of number 1 D at that time in Keith Seabrook and Hjalmarsson (who were supported by other excellent D like Leddy). It's hard to argue he was not his own teams 6th, 7th, 8th best player when you have the best american born player ever on your team, 2 selke calibre players, 3 number 1 calibre defensemen.. Chicago was STACKED. Crawford is as deserving as some other hall of famers but its meant to be an exclusive club not an inclusive club…. admitting Crawford is more on the inclusive side. Unless you also admit Hjalmarson but no one is even considering that. Even though he was a number 1 calibre stud on the modern dynasty. So.. you gotta be real here
