I appreciate the fact that these guys are talking crap to each other which is good for promoting the sport but in the world of wrestling it comes down to having a slight edge to be the best and by getting out of character and talking crap rather than being modest, these guys lost their edge and unfortunately didn’t end up winning the Olympics for 2021. I hate to say this as I used to be a two time state champion wrestler and two time national champion wrestler myself, so I hate to talk down upon two of the best to ever do it, but I’m just being real and feel this change of character for both of these guys has hurt their edge.

Dake to Burroughs is like Colby Covington to Kamaru Usman
There is NOTHING to debate. Dake was a great NCAA wrestler that somehow found a way to win against better wrestlers – Taylor and Molinaro. Then after getting beat by Burroughs year after year after year he queaks past and gets theched 11-0 in Tokyo! Dake is an embarrassment to the Olympic team and an embarrassment to the US!
Wow, everyone must see this. These two JB and KD are two of the greatest elite athletes. We have to respect and enjoy both of them. They are ferocious and competitive. It is shame that true wrestling does not have a professional league.
Dake has beat him only a couple times. Burroughs has beat him for many years.

Askren… no one is laughing with you after your lame jokes… I thought Ben was a decent personality, and I thought he was well spoken… until I took the time to listen to him a bit, and found out that he might be suffering from CTE, and he’s an instigator who is stuck living in his glory days.
And Kyle Dake did not come off very well in this conversation. Disrespectful, immature and defensive. I was cringing a lot when he spoke. I’ve watched this a few times, all but one time has been after I knew the outcome of their match. This podcast was the reason, the only reason I wanted to see Dake lose that match. I was completely rooting for Dake until his display on here.
