LA Kings trade Jonathan Quick to Columbus Blue Jackets | INSTANT REACTION



The LA Kings have traded Jonathan Quick, 2-Time Stanley Cup winner to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Quick with a conditional first-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in the 2024 round pick made up the package beings sent to Columbus. The Kings get defensemen Vladislav Gavrikov and goaltender Joonas Korpisalo in return.

    Emotion yes! emotion not just to fans but teammates. I am unsure of how this will play out on the ice knowing one of the greats is no longer there. I see boos coming next home game and signs towards our gm.

    I'm glad this made it easy for me to drop NHL and Kings. The Mistake Blake who shills like Edie Garcia worship have sunk the Franchise. SEeing what little ARizona asked to get Chicken who LA needed I"ll never forgive or forget this. I do not feel welcome or wanted by anybody here especially the person running channel. I woudl watch every video from start to finish only to be ignored or my messages deleted or hidden. Rob Blake is a Shark who did this to ruin the franchise from signing Mediocre Mikey for 33M 8 years to cripple them. GAv is garbage not even Jacob MOverare level player. HE is 6th round pick -23 career player who is never going to pan out at 28 with no upside. That Goalie is not any good who they traded for or worth money.

    Hey Eddie Garcia wanna bet Money on this trade as you talk Kings but don't know anything about LA or hockey. This is an abysmal Trade laughing stock. Worst trade in history of NHL. tRading a 1st round pick for 2 players who will be gone? LHD my ass the guy will get injured blocking a shot. Tossing Quick in tRAsh whiel they kept your no talent 1 PPG Brown on team sinking Power Play and team? Why did they go from bottom 5 to 10 to top 5 to 10 in PP? Same players? Kelly Hrudey Best Goalie in Kings history. Quick was dumped like trash he never won Vezina while Kelly took team to Cup in Better NHL. Quick would have never lasted 5 seconds on those LAK teams. I can't wait till Blake is gone. Another player number 4 to match mikey 44 BS.

    Quick wasn't playing well. I am heartbroken about it, but i certainly understood it.

    I am excited to see how Korpisalo plays.

    Yeah, emotions aside this is very very solid and should help the Kings win a lot more games and have a legit chance to go on a playoff run. Gavrikov adds a solid LHD and forces either Walker or Edler out of the lineup – both have been struggling. Think the D is going to be much improved with this. And adding Korpisalo will be a substantial boost in net. Kings record is 24-2-2 when they get at least a .900 save % so if they start getting that more consistently, this team could run away with the division.
