  1. NO. Habs do not want this guy unless to help tank. He is no better then Primeau who can get that done no problem.

  2. DiPietro and Dickinson for future considerations 🙏 DiPietro honestly has very minimal value at this point and would be happy to package him up with Dickinson

  3. I don’t see it. What’s he worth atm a 7th round pick. For that price Vancouver will just hold on to him

  4. We may get a pick for him, but perhaps we could send Poolman and his bloated contract along with Mikey. That would solve 2 problems at once.

  5. Primeau may never be an NHL starting goalie…great AHL goalie but not an NHL one…..

  6. After watching him at the world juniors, I was looking forward to seeing DiPietro suit up for the Canucks… and I happened to be at his first game vs SJ when he got lit up. Yikes. Going for so long without playing def didn’t help his development either. Maybe a change of scenery would be good for him.

Hopefully the Canucks get a pick out of it – the Habs have plenty.

  7. You don't get better riding the pine. Nothing against him, he still can make the jump. Just not in Vancouver. He needs to tighten his angles, but he is close. Don't think he could be great, but he could become a good serviceable backup. Never know, he could become a smaller Demko like goalie. It would have been nice if he could have stole some games. The team hung him out to dry. I would like to see him get a shot somewhere.

  8. Goalies do not grow on trees, any team looking for one will pay a pretty penny for one. Leafs, Canadians, Minnesota, Chicago, Seattle or New Jersey to name a few

  9. I wouldn't mind seeing him go to Montreal. I'd be perfectly fine with swapping him for a mid round pick.

  10. At what point do you stop doing this gay click bait garbage? Nowhere mentioned Montréal wants him…. That's a bold faced lie.

  11. I don't see that trade happening, Depietro is a hard worker on the ice; however Mtl doesn't need a 23 yrs goalie like him… Mtl has good young goalie prospects with more potential than him and we need the space for them. Good video!

  12. We can be like the Nashville Predators but with goalies. We got Ian Clark and goalies that won't be dethroning Demko anytime soon.

  13. The taxi squad idea really damaged the development of a lot of the younger players. And by now, it seems like the Canucks are not really high on DePietro anymore, so ship him out to get a draft pick or a prospect.. And yes, bring in Cory Schneider if he is interested in coming back!

  14. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought we're talking about Demko… I thought : Oh yeah! Bring him to Mtl!
