  1. 04:05 i prefer the cal by Jim Hughson in nhl 98 : " Great save Joseph!" also he's the reason why i got a leaf jersey when i was ten ( i was kinda pissed off because i'm a die hard habs fan, i just love great goalkeeper)

  2. My all time favorite goalie and second all time favorite player to the great one wayne gretzky. I followed his entire career. It's a shame he couldn't finish his career in Toronto where he had built a legacy of helping sick children see NHL games there. Just another reason to hate the leafs management

    NHL99 Intro…. (EU Version)

The moment this little german boy right here, became a Curtis Jospeph fan 😀
this was the first time I saw him. 🙂 this is when it all started for me. 🙂

  4. The Leafs are still looking for a new Joseph, since he left Leafs Nation for the Wings and the quest for a cup…

This guy was freaking special and he was the reason I wanted to learn more about the NHL. 🙂

  5. This man simply stole games on the regular. I can say that with first hand accounts as a die hard Leaf fan. We won playoff series we had no business winning because of this man lol.

That save on Nieuwendyk is my favourite save of all time. Game 7 on the road against a heavily favored Dallas Stars team, in overtime. Just incredible. The Oilers win the ensuing faceoff and rush up ice where Todd Marchant scores the series winner. It was awesome to watch as a neutral. I hadn't come to despise the Oilers and their constantly being rewarded for screwing things up over, and over, and over again. That franchise really doesn't deserve McDavid.

  6. Best glovehand of ol' time..CUJO.. I'm from Makati city Philippines onnninn LNG 😎 pilipino Spanish American..

  7. I’m here after reading his book. When he played for the Leafs in 1998-2002 I remember falling in love with the Leafs and CuJo my favourite player. It’s unfortunate he never got to hoist the cup but he had one hell of a run , making some unreal saves along the way. Thank you CuJo for your inspiration and introducing me to the great game of hockey.

  8. If you actually know anything about goaltending and you break this video down frame by frame…you can see how untrained and weak technically, Joseph really was. Thank goodness for NHL defensive systems. It's like I'm watching a road hockey goalie. Sorry…but watch for yourself.

  9. I was so ticked when the Mike Keenan had him traded from the Blues as a kid, I cried. Joseph should have won a cup in his career at some point, and it still seems crazy that, with all the talent the 90's Blues had, they never did much, owing to the fact that they were gutted by Keenan.

  10. I still think to this day what could been if Joseph and Belfour had been on the leafs at the same time with Pat Quinn as coach and Sundin as Capitan along wirh Robert's McCabe Mogilny Domi the leafs teams we're ridiculous back in the early 2000s

  11. Man, I love Cujo! No goalie has ever stolen as many playoff series than this man.
