  2. I’d love to see OEL in Montreal. He’s still a really good dman imo. Could really see him going to the Jets as well

  3. From what I hear, Arizona only wants to get better. If I did a mock trade it would be:
    To Carolina:
    OEL

    To Arizona:
    Pesce
    Hamilton
    Foegle

  4. If the Rangers could get rid of that cone (Staal) and get OEL we'd have that decent veteran defenseman and with Laf we'd be decent but I don't see the Rangers trading Buch

  5. Would love for ARI to get a reclamation project like Mittlestadt and see what they can do.

  6. i say if the Yotes trade OEL i think that they would get a first, a good prospected, a cap dump, a top 6 forward of some kind maybe the Yotes put Phil Kessel in the trade and get back a top 4 Dman and like a 3rd pick maybe but idk and i would like to see OEL go to Winnipeg i think he would be a good fit there.

  7. How much value does a 29 year old D man with the season he had really have all things considered? Do you think he's worth a franchise player plus future up and comers and picks? You went out of your way to mention that these weren't packages for a player but potential candidates to include toward getting this player, pieces of the package as it were. I think you've over-valuing Ekman-Larsson right now especially under the flat-cap reality GM's have to live with. It takes a team and D men get hurt, especially older ones. All the best and keep the vids coming, honestly a lot of them make me laugh. My knowledge is limited, I freely admit it but a lot of this doesn't make a ton of math sense to me and math I do know.

  8. If montreal can get OEL and still somehow find that big scoring winger, I think we'd be a contender very quickly. Especially with romanov and allen coming next year

  9. The only trade out of your scenarios that makes sense is Winnipeg. That said, if the Yotes fire sale is official and that is debatable considering they as of Wednesday or today are making a final offer to Hall. The Yotes will absouletly take no money back or very minimal. So that means picks. Habs you are on deck.. what a mess !

  10. As a Coyotes fan that's seen him decline over the years defensively, with his only upside being decent offensive numbers, I just want him to waive the NTC and go wherever he wants to play.
We could use the cap space.

    (Also ANDREW COPP HELL YEAH)

  11. I’d love OEL going to MTL but idk about if Arizona would want domi back and if domi would even want to go back

  12. OEL would fit perfectly with the Washington Capitals. The top D pairing would be OEL and John Carlson. The only problem is Washington has some serious cap problems, even with Holtby leaving. Ovie would have to take a pay cut on his next contract.

  13. Habs is very possible. WPG is out being in the same division next season. NYR and PHI unlikely with lots of young prospects, need to preserve their cap. NJD, NYI and DET are other possibilities.

  14. I like the Montreal and Edmonton trade options. What they can offer seems fair, and either one could make out like gang busters with OEL. The Oilers have been missing a real top defenseman for what seems like our lifetime.

  15. Great breakdown of the possibilities. Personally I'd love to see him in Calgary as there's a fit for him there if Calgary moves on from Travis Hamonic and TJ Brodie. Finding a package though that doesn't hurt too much could be an issue.

  16. Whoever has OEL in 2 or 3 seasons is going to be kicking themselves they took on that contract. That one will end badly. Hopefully he goes to Montreal lol.
