With training camp set to open this weekend in Whistler, Elias Pettersson and Adam Gaudette could essentially end up competing for the same spot at centre.

Waivers! Dahlen and Juolevi should be given spots too, we can waive Nilsson if demko is ready too

I think both could make the team this year. They are both defensively sound. Gaudette can handle 3rd and 4th line minutes, Petterson needs to be number one or two. I think it makes sense to play Petterson in the middle this year unless he is completely not ready physicallly.
