The Gladiators will serve as the Predators’ Double-A minor league team, one rung on the ladder below Milwaukee. The Gladiators play in the South division of the ECHL.
I’d imagine we’re gonna start seeing more rehab assignments be done in Atlanta instead of Milwaukee. Does this also mean that Georgia is now officially Predators territory? Hurricane fans in shambles.

Since the Thrashers left I’ve been all in for my hometown Gladiators, but I’ve been searching for an NHL team. I’ve tried following the Jets, Hurricanes, Predators, Flames, Senators, Blackhawks, and even the Coyotes (yes really). With this announcement and them actually playing on local TV in Atlanta, I’m 100% in with Smashville!

YEEESSS I’m so excited. My parents live like 30 minutes from the arena and we go see games when I visit in the winter, now I have a real reason to cheer for the home team other than them being the home team!
