  1. Im a Vancouver Canuck fan till I die, no doubt about that and I understand the fact that this was stupid he deserved the suspension.. BUT. … This will only be fair.. If Phil Kessel gets a suspension as well.. I dont care how long but are you fucking kidding me? He slashed John Scott while Bozak and Ashton holded him down..

  2. That is about as chickenshit as I have seen. Kassian is a brain dead fuck. Given his history he should be suspended permanently. As for you, douches who think it was accidental he never took a stride from at least 8 feet from the boards, how does that generate enough momentum to cause you to flail your stick around. Nor is that momentum transferred to your arms or hands. The fuckwad does this to "pretend" he couldn't help it. Are we to assume you are dim witted enough to believe it?

  3. Man that sucks, it was an accident but you still don't go flinging you're stick around. I think the suspension is well deserved, hopefully he can use this as a learning experience to be more careful, since hitting will be what is expected of him.

  4. Just remember 3 years later,,, Zdeno Chara that intentionnaly drived Pacho's head into the GlassBar and got nothing

Kassian deserved a 4min penality and should have got a maximum 2 games suspension

see i do a difference between deserve and should

  5. Having a shattered jaw has to hurt so much. It's really frustrating watching your favourite team's newly named captain go out on such an avoidable and careless play. Of course, the suspension is warranted, and of course he will have to 'pay the piper' because Stephen MacIntyre has his number. But if it were up to me, Zack Kassian would not play NHL hockey until Sam Gagner was able to.

  6. It was on TSN (don't know where you're from but that's Canada's version of ESPN) the night that it happened but I missed the episode of Sportscentre 🙁

  8. Fucking careless canucks gotta fuck up the oilers season before it starts. Kassian deserves a broken neck that fucking plug

  9. No offense but how obsessed are you Casucks fans with Toronto? Jesus Christ worry about your own fucking team…never seen a city to fucking obsessed with Toronto in my life…it's like your fucking lives revolve around what we think…ROFL…

  10. Toronto Stanley Cup Wins: 1918, 1922, 1932, 1942, 1945, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1967

    Vancouver Stanley Cup Wins: ………

    Enough said

  11. Nah i dont think it was… NHL even just reduced it due to lack of video evidence. PS i most definitely know what tsn is haha. wish we had it in the states, or at least when dan and jay were on

  12. And the careless, nonchalant play gets one-upped by dumb Oilers management. Two roster spots wasted on players who will be no more than a non-factor in games. Just like MastersMcT. talked about during the summer.
Looks like he was referring to the type of player he was after, not the type of player to avoid

  13. Entirely different situation man. I can't blame Kessel. Scott deserved to be slashed. He's 6'8 and 270 pounds and in a DISGUSTING show of being a bully went after a guy who is as tough and harmless as a fly. If a guy who was 8 inches taller and 70 pounds heavier tried to attack me I would slash him if my friends were holding him down too! He deserved it.just ask Don Cherry. If you know hockey u know that its kind of an unwritten code that if your a giant tough guy, you don't attack a little guy.

  14. Both times with making a hit where the guy dodges and suddenly he's heading for the boards. I don't think it's intentional but I wouldn't mind seeing matching short suspensions for Kass as well as Lupul from that game.
