We keep slowly slipping down these lists.
I’m curious how they define “blue chip”
Ed is the only one with superstar potential but he’s also got a floor as a plus NHL defender
Kaspar and Mazur are very likely to be playing in a top-9 role most of their career because their compete and skill levels are good, but they don’t have game breaking talent.
Soderblom also has sky high potential but he’s also got a very low floor
Albert has a decent floor from his skating and game sense but not a very high ceiling
Hanas very high ceiling but a very low floor with his individual skill
Cossa has a good ceiling but not insanely high, but he does have a high floor
So who else are they calling blue chips?
Amadeus > McDavid. Not even a hot take
