    I think we let one slip. I would’ve preferred Brunette over Ruff personally. Would’ve taken a tough GM to replace Ruff after this season.

    I hope we don’t come to very seriously regret this. I feel like we just might….Fitzgerald’s friendship with Ruff, blind him to Brunette’s contribution.

    I agree with both of his comments. We let one slip through our fingertips. I one hundred percent credit and Ruff with coaching up our young roster, however, we need to build a more structured play style beyond just “skating fast.” I’ll be paying close attention to who we hire to replace him.
