    Let me know your thoughts on this trade…as mentioned in the video the Flyers are receiving a 2nd round pick as well as prospect Helge Grans.
    Full Trade:
    Flyers Receive – Cal Petersen, Sean Walker, 1st Rd Pick from CBJ (LA Pick #22 acquired in Gavrikov Deal), 2nd round pick from Kings & 2nd Round Pick from CBJ and Helge Grans
    CBJ Receive – Ivan Provorov (30% retained)
    LA – Retains 30% of Provorov Contract for final 2 years and flip him to CBJ and Hayden Hodgson + Kevin Connaughton

    As a Flyers fan, I have known for a few years a total we REALLY suck a while rebuild is going to happen. Would hate to lose Hart, but why waste your early years if the team isnt going to be a contender till your 28-29?? Errson is a good goalie and perterson is a good back up. I am wondering if Danny will try and flip that draft pick and Hart or something else to move up more. pretty deep draft, most guy arent gonna tale 4-5 years to get to the NHL.

    Nice trade for Flyers but as a fan wtf. They should have hired Bierre LY. They needed to tank this draft but good start by Bierre. Hart is next that will be a massive move so get it right

    I heard the next trade for Philly is Carter Hart to Montreal for Primeau, Florida's 1st round pick, and a 2nd round pick. We'll see.

    Cleared Provy, who's had 3 sub-par years in a row, a $6.75 million cap hit, & publicly spoke out about his displeasure of being here. Granted he's had to change D partners several times which isn't easy. My knowledge of the returning players is 2nd-hand, so bear with me. A disgruntled 38-yr old part-time 3rd line defenseman on a cheap deal. Reminds me of another Justin Braun – type. A once-promising goalie, having fallen so far out of favor with LA that he is listed 3rd on their AHL depth chart. Makes $6 million per year which now becomes the Flyers headache. But we get an extra 1st round draft pick this year & an extra 2nd round pick next year. Maybe some additional yet-to-be-named prospects as well.

    nice haul for the flyers, especially getting rid of a player who didn't want to be there; columbus improves their offense, and hopefully their power play; hold judgment on la until we see what they do next; this looks like it sets the table; if they don't land carter hart, might they go after john gibson? he wouldn't have to move far, not that the ducks would want to strengthen their freeway rival; just a crazy thought;
