appreciate you guys, but i think it’s more likely yzerman takes willander at nine than sandin pellikka.
My theory has been Yzerman will trade up from 17 to 11 if one of the top D falls…I think Pellikka may fall over Reinbacher. He will take a top forward with the 9th or trade up to 6 if Michkov falls.
Im not interested in any defenseman at #9, if willander or ASP is available at 17 great, but would prefer drafting 2 forwards.
I could see Yzerman interested in taking advantage of teams like Toronto and Vancouver that are cap strapped. I wouldn't be surprised if Yzerman aquires Matt Murray from Toronto for their 28th overall draft pick originally Boston's 1st. I could also see Detroit trading up from 17 to 11. Vancouver has a serious cap problem as well. Detroit could take on Tyler Myers contract with Vancouver's 11th overall pick for the 17th overall pick. Detroit could throw in a 4th round pick to even the trade.
