  1. You could also rub the stick tape with a puck to make it darker. Not quite black but a dark grey. This also helps protect your stick tape from gashes.

  2. We must have gone to the same Stick taping class… Right down to using the old tape to clean the blade off of old glue etc.. I do use scissors to cut the tape at the toe so it's perfectly clean looking..

  3. Does any soak there tape after taping there stick so it stick better lol I do lol it seem to help stay better lol

  4. White tape makes it easier to pick up the puck off the stick for goalies. Black tape makes it harder to see coming off the stick in my experience, if you want an edge.

  5. As a goalie I am fully supportive of white tape or most bright colors of tape. Some of the hardest shots to stop are quick release snaps off perfectly smooth black tape. All kidding aside, this is a tiny edge. You are not giving up THAT much by using whatever tape you want. But half of beating a goalie is a mind game anyways so… at least that's how I felt about it as the one stopping the shots.

  6. I had to listen to the ending 4 times and I still can't believe my ears. You are the exact opposite of a crappy stick handler. 👍

  7. No tape on the bottom of blade for extra protection? I use renfrew extra wide tape. Takes about 8-10 wraps and she’s done.

  8. Going over to white tape on the blade next week. Will let you know if it makes me any less terrible at stick handling 😜

  9. I agree that slick is slick.

Sometimes you have to understand the elements you are working with, on or for.

The best traction is always going to be knowing your environment first.

With the least amount of insight or resources.

Respect your ground and you will unleash a level of certainly.

The Bible said that you will either return to the ground that you wish ro walk upon or you shall inherit that.
