Vegas won't win
Florida players couldn't wait to get their greasy mits on that conference finals trophy, while Vegas didn't touch it. It's not a almighty power, Vegas knew the work wasn't done, and the Panthers acted like they already won. Now they are down 2-0, and are looking like they will be swept.
Sweep…. 4-1 maybe.
LGK capitalizes on Tkatchuk ever so Predictable "cross checking" other team players aka hitting on other players! Vegas are ready for his predictable moves…anyone else noticed that? So they got him ejected(they're waiting for him to do that).
I always felt like Florida would eventually be exposed. At this point it still hasn't been proven but now it looks much more like the last playoff seed vs a true cup contender. I'm not saying Florida sucks. They earned this spot. But Vegas has been fine tuning this team for 6 years and they only got better adding Jack Eichel. You can't find their weakness. Florida's not out of it but I think Vegas is taking it down.
Sure Florida could’ve gotten a PP on the Hill slash. And maybe that could’ve gotten them one goal? So they could go on to lose 7-3? That missed call is by far the least of their problems.
How good has Vegas been all playoffs? In 19 games they've chased the other starting goalie 5 times…

The fact Eichel got back into the game was insane. That could have been so much worse. Man is a beast for sure.
After game 1, Florida tried to play 5 on 5 hockey, didn't work, so they went back to what they know, scrapping.

We just need consistency in what is a penalty and isnt because right now it is ruining the finals. These could have actually been competitive games if it wasnt for the inconsistency. I still think vegas wins but i doubt its such massive blowouts.

Florida needs an answer fast if they wanna make it a series
The missed call may have been a cross check against Tkachuk into the net, but he then antagonizes Hill who pushes him, then Tkachuk puts his hands in Hill’s face (instead of just getting back into the play), so Hill gives him a tap with the stick. It definitely wasn’t a full on slash. Regardless, if they would have called Hill for a slash, they would have had to take Tkachuk also. But let’s not pretend that a penalty there (and pp for the panthers) would have changed the outcome. The panthers had multiple power play opportunities that game that they did not capitalize on. The panthers were wholly and entirely outplayed and they, especially Tkachuk, seem to be sore losers. Tkachuk is currently tied for ninth place among most penalty minutes (36) in a Stanley cup finals round IN HISTORY and it’s only been 2 games! What a joke he is.

Also their mental game was to frustrate the knights and take the wheel and it has completely 180'd if they can't change quick this series is DONE. mark my words.
That Tkachuck hit was definitely not the biggest hit of the playoffs… the series maybe…
They can still win it but they have to actually play hockey instead of trying to get Vegas to not play hockey w/the antic stuff. They need to stick to what got them where they are and it's the forechecking and backchecking the whole let's try to get them to to take penalties stuff isn't working.

Cant help but feel that that misconduct was bs. He landed a clean hit, got jumped by the whole team, and gets ejected afterwards? And no penalties against vegas for instigating ? Just a shitty sequence…might not have changed the outcome but it just sealed the deal
Tkachuk's hit was not even close to the biggest hit of the playoffs. It wasn't even the biggest hit of the night — Gudas getting blown up in the first period had a much bigger impact on this game.
Vegas proved they can beat a two man team when the eliminated the Oilers, I don't know why people expected the knights to lose to worse two man team when they beat the best two man team
Ya this looked like a NHL team VS an AHL team. Also remember VGK took the fewest penalties in regular season. This is a VGK sweep!

Personally I think that if Florida doesn’t take home game 3 I think that they’re going to lose. But something that surprised me this years playoffs was Adin Hill to be so unexpectedly good in my opinion.
Tkachuk didn’t draw a penalty on the cross check because the ref watched him take a World Cup level dive. Then acted like a jackass as usual. Getting what he deserves this series. And I actually like Tkachuks game

Clean hit? Illegal
The refs have lost all control, its almost unwatchable and I feel embarrassed that this is the standard for supposedly the premier league of Hockey.

Hey, I would love to see Florida win based on how they dominated their games before. Even game 1 was tight.
But Vegas was amazing in game 2 – Even if I favor Florida, I don’t think they deserve to win with crappy playing. Right now, Vegas deserves to win.
Can Florida turn it around? I hope they do. But not with cheapshots. I want the better team to win even if it means Florida loses.
Congratulations Vegas team and fans! You have a lot to be proud of!

Vegas can do absolutley no wrong so far in this series. Its very obvious.
This is making east coast hockey look a lot weaker, going in they looked stronger.
How the F can judge give those penalties in a Cup Final?
The Florida coach has a few things to think about. The goalie situation is delicate. Bobrovsky seems spent. And overall player discipline is out of control. They have earned each misconduct penalty several times over. The bench protests over no calls are pathetic. They need to try to tone their clownery down in game 3.
Panthers will play a couple of tight home games to the best of their limited ability. They were very fortunate in tight games in previous series so they can hope for more of the same. Many people seem to forget that Florida is not a very good team.
Florida got lucky all playoffs, lucks now running out 😂
