My only fear for Steve and the team is when inevitably sports betting ads become illegal, or at least scaled back in a way. This is a big thing of topic lately and soon enough politicians will have to listen. It’s definitely brought in a big influx of revenue for these guys but if they lose that I think it’s bottoms up.
Either way I wish them the best and hope it works out!

I liked Dangle in the past, I appreciate him being a self made passionate guy. However, his lack of actual hockey knowledge got more pronounced throughout the years as the team got better. He became really hard to listen to

Good news for people who hate him because he won’t be popping up on your TV/social media anymore if you don’t follow SDPN (which why would you if you hate him).
Also good news for people who like him because now he’s more free to do whatever he wants!

Seriously, I see these terrible commercials he is in with shockingly mediocre NHL players and I don’t understand who any of this is aimed at…like why the hell would anyone want to listen to P.J. Stock and other irrelevant former NHLers discuss hockey with this nobody?

Hopefully this works out for them. This is such a gamble for them. (No pun intended) They probably don’t make that much money in YouTube revenue. Most of their other shows have almost no views. I’m interested to see how this works in 3 years
