Brendan Gallagher was given a minor penalty for kneeing for this hit on Hudson Fasching. Was two minutes enough? Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!
Don't like Gallagher, but I think 2 was enough. Fasching was doing the McDavid dance and made the contact look worse than it would have been had he not tried to go around.
Oof, I mean, clearly throws the leg. I am sure this could have been a handful of things. Stick is back so there’s no intent at the puck. He’s sort of between the two “hockey plays” he could make, either the poke and the left hip check or turning the right hip and poking and skating with him. So he picks neither and throws his leg.
If it wasn’t intentional it was certainly reckless and dangerous.
That is clear intent to stop the rush by any means possible, his leg went straight to intentionally trip him up, knee on knee could’ve been a career ending hit, deserves a fine at least.
Blatant attempt to injur. You can't leg the knee of a player moving that fast without being aware you could end his career. He should sit the first 3 regular season games next year.
