I was on Team Fantilli, but Carlsson definitely impressed me at the WCs. I would probably choose him over Fantilli. Carlsson showed that he can play with men, Fantilli couldn’t keep up
Many in Ducks nation balk at the idea, but I think between the two – it’s paper-thin close. Verbeek has been on record saying he wants prospects to ‘overcook’ in the minors vs rushing development. If that’s the case, could see them picking Carlsson and being patient with his development
