Bertans is basically a Expiring deal. Mavs aren't winning this year anyway. Hell Bertans at 5 mil a year next year won't be a bad thing.

I think the Mavs can make a deal to get back DFS from Brooklyn and one of their first round picks for 10 and try to give away Bertans if possible

The Mavericks, should keep their pick & look to trade back to draft Rayan Rupert, Bilal Coulibaly, Jordan Walsh, Nikola Durisic, Tosan Evbuomwan, Oso Ighodaro, Zvonimir Ivisic, Efe Abogidi, Colin Castleton, Armel Traore or Malcolm Cazalon. They would all be a good fit for the Mavericks and playing next to Luka.
I don’t hate the Og trade but I don’t like it cause we giving up Josh green but I would do it. I love the Clint Capela trade and if we do get the 15th pick, hear me out draft Carson Wallace, Ik he is another guard but he is one of the best perimeter defenders in the draft and we could play small ball with him at the 3. And I don’t hate the deandre hunter trade cause we get a solid wing and select Derek lively at 15 so we get a young 3nD wing and a youn good shot blocking center who can get some boards

Trade Maxi and Bullock to the Magic for the 6th pick and use it to draft Black then use the 10th pick and draft Lively then trade THJ and McGee to the Cavs for Allen and the 49th pick and then use it to draft Bates with all 3 of them and Hardy thats a mean young core around a future MVP

10+bertans+thj+Reggie/green for Hunter+Capella+15 seems a great trade imo. We get starting level 3&5 and can probably draft or trade 15 for a 4

As a Raptors zero chance either of those trades happen. The Mavs don’t have good enough players or enough picks to get OG and if the Mavs traded the #10 pick for Boucher and Porter Jr I would assume the GM is looking for a job on the Raptors. Mavs are in a difficult position that they need to improve or risk losing Luka yet they lack assets, picks, and cap space to make it happen. They are probably desperate but let’s be honest a # 10 pick is not that valuable even in a deep draft. Top 3 is but #10 isn’t. Tick Tock Mavs are on the clock and Luka is already looking to the side.
