  1. I’m a habs fan and went to the game in Edmonton yesterday. I was sitting right behind the net where cole caufield scored and it was a beauty. They better not fire Martin st.Louis

  2. I'm not just going to sit here and blame everything about CC's delayed success on DD. But, what I will say is that St. Louis has proven himself to be right in the sense where DD's systems really boxed in CC's abilities as a player. I think this certainly was a big contributing factor. I don't know if he would've been the Calder favorite even under a different coach. All players go through slumps like these, but on their own levels. Even looking towards a guy like McDavid, who, while yes, is the best in the world, can still have his own style of slump sometimes. I do believe CC might have sprouted out a little earlier than he did with DD, though. Guys like Zegras, Raymond, and even Seider were meant to win it this year. Caufield is scoring points, but that doesn't mean he's a point scorer. He's mostly known for his goal scoring ability. Which makes me think he'd be more likely to get a trophy for goal scoring compared to point scoring. That's my perspective.

  3. To me, not firing ducharme right after bergevin was gone, was the perfect decision. Is it sad for caufield stats and rookie year? Of course!! But they waited enough where they could almost insure that the Habs would draft super early even if the team got better after st Louis stepped in! Nobody would expect the Habs to get so much better not even the GM ! If they fired him in December, and the Habs played like they're playing now, they would be middle of the pack but still not in a playoff spot and we would be angry that they draft around 15 again !

  4. Been watching more Legorocks99 vids recently, what does he say at the end of every video before “..and.. bye”?

  5. Yes, you are correct. Fleeced he was. The Calder was his. Maybe not getting it helps us when he gets his next contract? hope so cause he is gonna be deadly as he matures.

  6. Its amazing that an NHL coach could do some much damage in such a short period of time in Montreal. Reminds me of the ' unspoken ' years after we won the cup in 93. 🤫🤫😳😳😳

  7. Caufield is overrated, good goalscorer tho. But Raymond, Lundell and Seider are more versatile players. Zegras is offensively best of those so he is way better than Caufield as well.

Caufield and Suzuki can’t be key pieces for Rebuild, they are good secondary guys. Like Byram and Newhook will be for Colorado. Montreal need their own Bedard so they should just try to be bad team for next 2 to 3 years.

  8. I was so happy when they drafted Caufield. ( Even though he isn't Canadian )He crushed all of USDP records and plays like a speedy Canadian. I cant believe we got him at 15 !!

  9. I don't think I'll ever get over it. We shouldn't have that kid on our team. Whenever i think about it i can't help but laugh.

Shoutout to New Jersey, NY, Chicago, Colorado, Los Angeles, Detroit, Buffalo, Edmonton, Anaheim, Vancouver, Arizona, Minnesota, Florida and Philadelphia. I think that's all of them.🤣

  10. do you believe that ducharme robbed the team of the stanley cup? Cause i do and i believe that if we had Martin st. louis at the beginning of this year, we would probably be in the top 10 teams in the nhl.

  11. We all knew at some point that something was seriously wrong.. The team was definitely weaker than last season.. But it boggled the mind that so many players were under performing.. I don't think anybody expected them to be as bad as they were. But I was blaming the players more than the coach.. And more importantly.. I was blaming Bergevin.. I knew Ducharme as struggling, but who wouldn't when the entire team was slumping. I figured he was as much a victim of the bad chemistry and poor goaltending as the rest of the team. I didn't occur to me that he might be the bad chemistry until that night Montenbault got ran over and nobody even flinched. From that point onward nobody but Ducharme could be the reason. So bad that a dude with zero professional coaching experience could not only make them at least competitive.. But also make them actually look good.. Even Montenbault looks major league.. And come on.. At one point you could've straped the pads on me and got about the same results. The cancer in the room is clearly gone. Now about Caulfield.. He's probably over achieving just a little right now , but maybe not.
I predicted he'd score 26g 24a in his rookie season.. Which are very good first year numbers.. What he's doing right now? Either St Louis is a genius.. Or Caufueld is better at scoring than I ever imagined and I imagined a guy who would score 50 goals one day in the NHL..

  12. I said this 5 games into the year and stopped watching games and said this coach is hurting the habs and last year was not coaching the team coached itself and had each player playing for each other as a team worst coach in habs history

  13. Carry price defection few weeks before season opening cost Ducharme & bergevin jobs. Also the whole season and caufield calder race.

  14. Lmao Ducharme just gave us a top 5 pick while already having caufield +Suzuki let’s gooooo

  15. Should really stop shitting on Ducharme, yeah the guy failed miserably but so did the rest of the team, Dom just seem to carry what was preceded by Claude Julien. Needed to bring someone from outside the moled. I mean good for Caufield who seems liberated but he was the same player in playoff last year simply went through a tough stretch and that affected his confidence this will be hard especially for a young player.

  16. To be honest the reason Cole Caulfield is producing now is because he got the best Center (nick Suzuki) and Josh Anderson on the Right Wing. Caulfield was not as productive as a right wing. By trading Tyler Toffoli habs opened the path for Cole Caufield. The same happened to Dylan Larkin in Detroit after Pavel Datsyuk left the Redwings

  17. Classic example of someone in an authority position striping the confidence from young players. Babcock was like that. It's a familiar story in our work places. Always someone looking to take the confidence from another. Bless Marty for being a stand up guy.

  18. Not wrong really sent him down because the team around him was falling apart he was doing his job before coach sent him down

  19. The goal he scored under Ducharme nearly wasn’t a goal, ref waved it off, and the league had to review it after play continued

  20. Let's talk about the last place finish last year. There are way better players that draft. Seider and Zegras, etc.
Caufield is 5'7 and 160lbs and scores all his goals from the perimeter.
