So do I. They had so much more style, the new ones are pretty bland.

They just need more black in the color scheme to break up the blue. While I do like the blue, there’s entirely too much of it. There’s already a team with blue and white and their primary colors, we need an updated color scheme to differentiate us from them look-wise.

Honestly as much as I enjoyed that 2nd Gen jersey at the time; now, it just brings back soo many frustrating memories. That was the era that we traded Dan Boyle, and Brad Richards. The people that were forced out of the organization, the rumors of the team moving, it was the dark ages. Mind you, our dark ages weren’t nearly as long or bad as what other team’s dark ages are/were but it still is a flag of the dark times.
That being said; Detroit’s jerseys in Toronto’s color is pretty damn bland.
