  1. Anders Lee had 28 goals … yet there were many stretches during the season where he was invisible. He is not a 7m per year player … not even close.

  2. The following players aren't worth the $. The following players are worth the $.
    -barzal $9.1 mil. 8 years remaining. 14 g, 51pts. -sorokin .924 sv.% nhl leading six s o's.

-the id line. 7 years comb. left. 5.7 mill avg. avg. age 33.5 varly ufa $5 mill. 4 years.
The biggest waste of $$$ is whatever lou is making. Isles have a lot of theives stealing $$$'s from them that aren't worth the $. Do you see the trend? Most of them are up front and hamper isles from making upgrades up front. Thanks to the head honcho lou. Isle combined fwd. avg. age-30.0. combined avg. age d men-25.8. avg age isle goalt'ders.-31.0. See the other problem?

  3. Can't help but ponder the possibility of Lee playing banged up and not complaining this past season, I have been critical of his game in the past, weather it was justified or not is debatable (contract), it tends to be easy to point blame at certain players that i expected to be better than they had been, but that is truly a simple take, there are so many different factors involved in TEAM play that my finger pointing may NOT be justified….that said…i will play a wait and see game to see if this TEAM rebounds next season….I believe it will but that's just me…Go Islanders!!!………PS..Contracts with incentives has alway's been a good idea that is never really explored in Hockey (that i know of).
