Questionable? Wilson did nothing wrong there. Ovechkin and the other caps player however, slashed and tripped him. No whistle for that though because a league golden boy was involved.

How was this even remotely “questionable”…
I despise That Punk Wilson as much as anyone, and I feel very confident that he will make many more dirty, suspension-worthy hits before his career is over. Having said that, I don't think this particular Wilson hit was dirty. Kurali was falling down. I didn't watch the game in real time, so I don't know if there was a penalty called, but from the looks of the replay, it looks like Ovi could have been called for hooking. Other than that, it was just unfortunate.
I'm not defending the Caps though. They are still a dirty team (so is Boston, for that matter), as evidenced by Hathaway Boarding Tinordi later in the game. That was a dirty hit, and fully deserving of the 5 minute major (and maybe even a couple games' suspension).
It’s not like guys don’t know to look out for Wilson now, no excuse for getting caught off guard by him. Every guy in the league knows that he’s gonna finish everything. All 31 gm’s would take Wilson if they had the chance
This one looked so much worse in real speed so I understand the Bruins initial reaction, but when you see the replay there's not a whole lot there.

Kuraly was falling down. Wilson even turned away a bit when he saw Kuraly was falling. Wilson's elbow was down and stick was pulled away. Beer league non-check hockey has harder incidental contact than this!

However, love how the Caps don't have a woke bone in the roster. Nasty, physical toughness with an edge makes for great hockey. Deal with it!
As a Bruins fan still believe if these teams face each other in a series; Marchand and Pasternak will be handling the puck like a hot potato and cowering from the physical aggression the Caps will bring.
This is there MO during intense physical playoff games.
