Putting Crosby on the half wall would be a start. He would put up 10-20 more points a year.
Pens used to do two types of fibonacci plays clockwise and counterclockwise and used it a lot on the PP in 2016 and 2017 and then just poof stopped doing it. Ive seen them do it maybe 5 times since…they NEED to reincorporate these plays back into their puck distribution. It was fun to watch and it had such a high success rate. Whoever made them stop that needs to be smacked
I notice that they wind up for slap shots from the point that usually miss the net and end up out of the zone. Just get the puck on net and good things will happen especially if you have a net front presence. Look at Brent burns. He is a master at just getting the puck through without cranking it at light speed

The PP won't change until someone retires. And by change, I mean get better.
"Remember that one game against Tampa?" This is what you're constantly touting as the reason Petry might still be a keeper? C'mon. Hey, Remember that one game Carter had two goals, one of which being the game winner against Colorado? The only reason DK doesn't want to come out against Petry is becuase he's on record as saying he'd be a great addition, after he broke the story (via someone else) about them possibly trading for him. If he'd had been against the trade from the get go, there'd be no Tampa take, and he'd be railing against him like he does Granlund.

I don't think Petry is the problem, he was solid, no consistent glaring issues. Net front presence on the power play is the problem. Try plugging Drew O'Connor in on the PP, turn him into the next Hornqvist.
To quote the legendary Reg Dunlop…. " We're working on it"
