I put together a couple of locations for a Hart move in the link. There’s definitely more than just those 3 out there, but I think there could end up being a bidding war for Hart and that’s gonna land us some nice pieces. What do yall think?

I don’t see a link?
I don’t see a link either. I think teams who still have a playoff window will be interested – and my prediction is, it will be between 2 teams at the end – the Oilers and Kings. Ideally, Briere (or any GM) would want to deal him to the WC – and not have him on an EC team – it won’t look good if he suddenly has (playoff) success on an EC rival.
The most ideal situation would be for him to have success on a WC team but the assets the Flyers get back work out and help turn the Flyers into SC contenders down the road – hopefully, sooner rather later for them.
However, if an EC offers the farm – maybe he’d consider it but the Oilers need a goalie – he’s from Alberta. The Kings also might need a goalie but Korpisalo was pretty good for them – but, Hart is younger and could be an upgrade – they might not want to part with assets though. The Oilers probably would. Their Cup window is getting more narrow every year and they still haven’t had the playoff success you would expect with McDavid and Draisaitl on your team. He’s an easy upgrade on Campbell and Skinner. Thoughts?
Maybe Briere has me in the mood for another three team deal, but here’s some framework I was thinking of earlier.
Three team deal with PHI, OTT, and DET. Ottawa send DeBrincat to Detroit. Philly sends Hart to Ottawa. Detroit sends a 2023 first round pick to Philly (dream of 9OA, but probably settle for 17OA). Ottawa sends a 2024 first round pick to Philly.
So we end up with 17OA and a 2024 first round pick. Detroit gets DeBrincat. Ottawa gets Hart. Maybe sprinkle in later round picks and lower tier prospects if needed.
One of the things that might make this trade unlikely is that Ottawa has already given up a bunch of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks in the next three drafts and you don’t often see a team completely clear out their draft capital like that, unless they’re all-in on competing for a Cup. But Ottawa has so many nice pieces besides a goaltender, I wonder if they would be tempted to take a big swing.
I just fixed the link guys 😅
Is there any scenario where some combination of Hart + 7 + 22 could get you pick #1 or #2?
Not even sure thats a fair value, but trying to get a sense if folks think Bedard or Fantilli are just completely untouchable for Chi or Anaheim
Idk if DET would give up 9OA for Hart but that would be my main target imo. They could probably get helle for that but he’s 30 on the last year of his deal and Hart would likely be a long term solution in net for them. They’re looking pretty set with there big names up front and Seider on D but they need to upgrade their depth and goaltending to start making noise more then drafting another good player that’s two years away from making an impact. Gotta think anything’s in play for them rn.
