'I saw Errol go 19 rounds sparring with a guy whose best performance was avenging his own loss to Tony Harrison'. Okay? Cool? In the last 4 years, he went 12 rounds of fighting each with Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, and Shawn Porter. Im not sure 'the guy Im fighting was good to go another round' is the statement that folks in these comments think it is.
As a fighter, people have to understand when sparring someone you spare on a regular or someome you familiar with 19 rounds is not alot because you know that person not trying to take your head off. Thats when you guys try new moves, new combinations, etc in the ring. You teaching one another and learning. So shit sounds good but dont mean anything. Bud winning fasho. I really really don't see what Crawford can do with errol… people are gonna cheer because bud may get in some clean shots but spence like tank will purposely take your shot meaning subconsciously they be so focused on what they are about to throw and have totally disregard that you connected just to get close… bud is an emotional fighter, see porter wasn't really fighting his close friend so when bud turned it up after his corner said he was down, was an emotional expression which if porter was really fighting he would have caught Crawford, why because when Crawford gets emotional(and it's often) he turns into that little boy who was street fighting coming up, and he opens up completely… literally arms wide… error throws 100 plus punches a round for 12 rounds until the job is done… that's 1200 punches thrown ad probably 800 of those or higher connects… equals a knockout or retirement… not many fight after errol…
His skin color has nothing to do with why he’s awesome. God given talent isnt based on ethnic backgrounds. Nor is your heart. Bud n Spence just blessed by god and we have the fortune to watch them tango
People who think Spence’s style is “basic” don’t have a great understanding of boxing. His guard manipulation is great. He is doing alot of subtle stuff in there that LOOKS BASIC but is very effective. I think his style is efficient.
