Hasek, Robitaille, and Hull all hoisting this cup in 2002, was magically one of the best teams to ever skate in the NHL, I remember the news coming in before the season, I was absolutely floored when I heard that we have traded for Hasek. I made it to the parade that year, man what a party.
What I appreciated about 2008 was how long the Pens fans waited, they stayed for a long time after the game. Pretty respectful in my opinion. Can’t say that for every sport.
I don’t care what it takes, I will be there for the next one, I don’t care if I have to sell a kidney on the black market to afford the tickets. I would like to see them lift the cup just once in my lifetime in person.
