There’s one guy to take off the table. 8 year deal for a 28 year old could be rough. Columbus is kind of reminding me of the Tim Murray Sabres.
Eric Tulsky is gonna have a bad time cleaning up CBJ’s mess next off-season.
Severson is a real solid player, but I’m not sure at that price tag for that long. Bullet dodged I guess 🤷. Who else should the Sabres look at?
I’m sad we didn’t get DS, but happy we didn’t get him at that term or cap hit.
Someone less “flashy” for half that term and maybe 5M would be good for us.
What is Columbus doing? They now have:
Werenski, Provorov, Severson, Gudbranson, Peeke, Boqvist, Bean and Blankenburg all under contract for next season with Jiricek and maybe Ceulemans needing a spot next year, and Mateychuk not far behind and a couple decent prospects after that!
Adams should be calling on Boqvist and Mateychuk.
Yikes to that contract. Adams was never doing that.
