  1. next season will we see the ceiling possibility of Slavkosky? we will see how he will developp next season.

  2. Calm the fuck down on Slafkovsky. He's fucking 19 years old! Wayyyyyyyy too much bust talks with him. He will be a beast when he is 21 years old.

  3. The ceiling for Slafs is :

    Mikko Rantanen, but more physical
& maybe even better than Rantanen in puck protection.

  4. Laura, just to reassure you on being disappointed on Slafs because of his first season…

and not thinking he’ll reach his ceiling based on that…

    Leon Draisaitl had a very,
    and I mean VERY

Difficult 1st NHL season at 18years old.

If you wanna see what the Habs saw in him,
go & watch Juraj Slafkovsky Scouting Report…

    The kid had
    UNBELIEVABLE hands
    for a guy That size.

  5. People need to calm down about Slaf and let the guy develop. He's played less than 40 games in the league so far, and we probably won't know how good he's going to be until he's played 300.

  6. I had promised myself I would not post anymore on here …..

but when it comes to Slafkovsky this is my NUMBER 1 pet peeve with the current new administration. Lets Look at Slafkovsky vs Shane Wright development plan??

As you know i have been very critical of the development structure that was followed with Slafkowsky. My view is that Kent Huge is following this path with ulterior motives. ( This is a whole different and interesting topic… in fact fascinating topic)

Now I am watching how Seattle has dealt with Shane Wright and they have perfectly managed his first year. ( it must be said that I do not think Seattle is worried at all about Shane Wright signing his 2nd contract in Seattle– Whereas Kent Huge is worried about signing Slaf….)

So what has Seattle done perfectly and where have they got lucky:

    1) Shane Wright only played 8 games with Seattle– They did not burn his first year ELC which means Wrights Second Contract is delayed a year. This is excellent for delaying the impact on the Salary cap. With the Salary cap projected to go up more after the Escrow is paid off the Kracken will have move cap space to sign wright down the road with one year of ELC differed.

    2) Seattle sent Shane Wright to Junior. He got to play BIG minutes with the Windsor Spitfires and got in 20 Important games with big minutes. Then Shane Wright got to lead his Team at the World Juniors ( again Slakovsky did not ) 7 High intensity games at World Junior

    3) When the Spitfires lost in the OHL playoffs Shane Wright was eligible for Call Up to the Coachella Valley Firebirds who are in the Calder Cup Finals. Wright played 8 Regular season Games and as of last night 19 Calder Cup High intensity Playoff games

    ——————————————

Shane Wright got a taste of the NHL— with 8 Games. He was Clearly OVERMATCHED— The Kracken did not keep him in the NHL where he could get injured trying to keep up with MEN. Wright got a taste of what he needs to be to compete at the NHL level ( Unlike poor Slafkowsky– who was Sacrificed and paid a dear price getting injured so severely he last his season

Wright got a taste of Humble Pie playing in Juniors but this is GOOD DEVELOPMENT..

Then Wright gets called up to Coachella and is lucky they have a great team—-

So Wright has played—- 8 NHL Games— 20 Junior Games— 7 World Junior Games– 27 AHL Games

Total: 62 Games!!!!! Loads of Minutes at all Different Levels. — and SHANE WRIGHT IS STILL playing.

Slafkovsky — No World Junior and only 39 NHL games with Sparring number of minutes. And then gets injured to bo0t. An injury so severe??? He does not play again cannot be sent anywhere Rockets or Juniors.

So I ask who is better prepared going into year 2 and which Team followed a better Development plan— The Kracken with Wright or the Habs with Slafkovsky???????

If Wright has a better performance then Slaf in the coming years I for 1 will point to YEAR 1

  7. Slaf will be fine… I'd love to see him check more…use that big six foot five 250 lbs frame to cause turnovers
