Why is O.E.L., brock worser, and garland still Canucks?
my guess is canucks trade 11th pick and garland to chicago for 19th and 2 2nds and then use one 2nd to move myers after bonus is paid. or maybe they find a 3rd team to make things happen. maybe they buy out poolman. we want to know now but their agenda is different than ours. we lack patience.
to do something you need cap. nobody wants bennings horrendous signings. they will continue to overpay for 5-6 defencemen 4th line players, and early picks who aren't working out and remain in cap hell.
They can get some value for Boeser or Garland. If they want to move Myers they will need to add a sweetener. Their cap issues are not a great situation obviously.

No one is doing the Canucks any favors by taking on bad contracts. Their prospect pool isn't the greatest, an if they do make trades, one can only hope it's for expiring contract or for prospects an picks
This isn't fixable in full this offseason. We know this.
But if you can just move Garland right now we can be in much better shape.
Trade Pettersson for Columbus' #3 overall, Provorov and Boqvist. Package the #3, #11, Provorov and Kuzmenko for #1 – Bedard. Vancouver gets Bedard, a Swedish puck moving second pair defenseman with potential and solves their cap issues. Chicago picks Michkov at #3, goes full Ruski and embrace being the heel franchise. And Columbus gets their long awaited 1C, just entering his prime.

This franchise…had made a few bad mistakes the fans of Vancouver deserve better. Problem is they get a bit too idk GIDDY?? idk if thats the right word but they had Bure and the team stalked him and ripped him off on his contract then made up rumors about him refusing to play in the playoffs. Youre lucky you had Pat Quinn dousing the fires
