  1. As a Vegas fan have to tip my hat to Florida for the first ever win in the Stanley Cup. I never thought the series was over after game 2. If Florida can keep the goal scoring down (like game 3) they will win. Great game as it was close. Let's go Vegas!🎉

  2. The crying about penalties in the post season from fans is remarkable.
Hockey Fans when the refs let play go: "OMG the officiating is so trash, they need to start calling the rule book!"
Hockey fans when the refs finally start calling penalties: "OMG the refs are doing way to much, they just need to let the players play".

    We are a peculiar bunch.

  3. PGH rresident and Pens fan here. Cats are unreal. Heading to Sunrise today for game 4. Cant wait!!

  4. Hmmm… It seems my strategy of writing the Panthers off and not watching the game worked! I may be the only hope the Panthers have!

  5. No super strategy here , Panthers must stay disciplined and out of box to have a chance here. Star players took center stage tonight.

  6. As a Panthers fan, I feel like that nearly two weeks break that we had was not beneficial to the team, especially not beneficial for Bob. Hopefully, this win gets there playoff skates rolling again. Let's go cats!

  7. and Florida is now alone in 2nd place with 7 consecutive PO OT wins. They are still in contention to make it to 10, the record. Verhage, or however his name is spelled, has quite a little quiet thing going on. 4 GWG of which 2 OT GWG. He is currently halfway to Joe Sakic's 8 GWG PO record and has done it in less than a 3rd the games. His 2 OT GWG is 1 behind Mel 'Sudden Death' Hill's of 3 for a single PO year. Plenty of time and games ahead for this.
Both Tkachuk and Bennett have tied Ray Ferraro with 4 OT points in one PO year.
Could see some long time records fall this year. Go OT!

  8. Maybe we'll actually have a series here. Like I said on another video, I hope it goes 7 only because it's the last games of the season

  9. First off, Bob had a series-saving game for the Panthers. Can't take anything away from him.

Secondly, in 40+ years as an avid sports fan, the only team I can think of where the term "failure is not an option" applies more than it does to this Vegas team… is the 2008 US men's basketball team. Vegas losing this series would be nothing short of an apocalypse.

  10. The Panthers found that Vegas was tired late in the game. Just like Carolina. Now they need to use that advantage.

  11. To me (I am cheering for Vegas), the only penalty that was called that I honestly didn't think was a penalty was the trip at the end of the 3rd. Everything else that was called, was a penalty. There were definitely some missed high sticks and too many men on the ice calls. The refs are calling it tight and for the first time Vegas looked really undisciplined, but it didn't cost them in goals, but it cost them in momentum of the game and decreased the 5 v 5 time allowing for more offensive chances. Vegas needs to get back to screening Bob if they want chances at scoring 5 v 5.

  12. Too many PP and too many penalties being called for a Cup finals. I don't know who told the refs to call this so damn tight.

  13. Huge momentum swing, Panthers tie the series Saturday so everyone can finally get off their knees regarding Vegas. Thankfully.

  14. Shannon, what are your thoughts on Vegas winning this series because the Buffalo Curse wants Eichel to lift the Cup? I called it in the opening round of the playoffs and here we are…

  15. Florida looked awful for most of the game but Vegas let them hang around and paid the price. I still favor Vegas to win this.

  16. The Panthers finally got their head out of their butt and decided to play competitive hockey. Maurice was definitely the right man for the job. He got the team moving at the right direction. Let's see if they can keep it up

  17. I didn't understand the doubters last night. Yes the second period was bad but they seemed to play better in the third and were the better team in the first. Florida showed in previous series they don't need to outplay the other team to win they just need to win on the scoreboard. The longer the game went I kept thinking Vegas is playing with fire here. They didn't close the game out. Whether that was due to something Florida and Bob was doing or the parking the bus strategy I am not sure.

  18. Vegas collapsing in their own zone to kill off centering passes was a work of art. Credit to Florida for threading that needle, everyone on that team owes Bobrovsky a steak dinner every night for a year for keeping that game from being 4-1

  19. As a general hockey fan, games with this many penalties in the playoffs, are absolutely not fun to watch. On top of that, you absolutely cannot have blown calls like that last penalty on forsling.
